Esrat Farhana Dulia, a doctoral student at Kent State University won first place in the university's 2024 Three Minute Thesis under the supervision of Syed A. M. Shihab of the College of Aeronautics and Engineering for work she conducted in the Green and Advanced Mobility Engineering (GAME) lab -- a research lab that focuses on developing data-driven, intelligent decision-making systems for aviation based on artificial intelligence/machine learning, optimization and operations research techniques.
